Baileys was the first liqueur to use cream and alcohol together in a manner sufficiently stable to allow commercial distribution. The cream and whiskey are homogenized to form an emulsion, with the aid of an emulsifier containing refined vegetable oil. This process prevents separation of the whiskey and cream during storage. The quantity of other ingredients used is not known but they include chocolate, vanilla, caramel and sugar. Irish Cream can be drunk alone, over ice or as part of a cocktail. It is also commonly used as an addition to coffee in lieu of cream or sugar.

Tia Maria is a "liqueur spirit" which resembles a coffee liqueur such as Kahlúa, which is also produced by Pernod Ricard. Unlike Kahlúa, Tia Maria is made in Jamaica using Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee beans. The main flavor ingredients are coffee beans, cane spirit, vanilla, and sugar, fermented to an alcoholic content of 26.5% (alcoholic content as sold has been reduced to 20%).
The mystical Marula or Elephant Tree (Sclerocarya birrea) is indigenous to sub-equatorial Africa. It bears a smallish oval fruit with its flesh packed around a large, very hard kernel. From mid-January to mid-March the marula fruit ripens, giving the fruit its distinctive flavour and rich yellow colour. The fruit is selected on a sorting conveyor belt, with damaged fruit being discarded and green fruit being held back to ripen. In the de-stoning tank, rotating blades remove the flesh from the hard kernels. The resulting fruit pulp and kernels are then separated.
Chambord Liqueur Royale de France is a liqueur that is made in the Loire valley in France. It dates back to 1685 when Louis XIV visited Château de Chambord. It is made from raspberries, blackberries (mûre), honey, vanilla, and cognac. It has no preservatives and must be consumed in 6 months time, otherwise the ingredients separate. It comes in a spherical bottle with gold plastic lettered "belt" around the middle. The bottle is modeled after a Globus cruciger in order to reflect Chambord's royal connection. It is 16.5% alcohol by volume.

Benedictine is a judicious blend of the recipes created by Dom Bernardo Vincelli and by Alexandre Le Grand. It is made up of 27 plants and spices which come from the four corners of the globe. Angelica, hyssop, juniper, myrrh, saffron, aloe, arnica, cinnamon…(the full list is a closely guarded secret!) give Benedictine its unique flavour. Benedictine has always been made with a unique savoir-faire and has a quality beyond reproach, thanks to its lengthy production process.
In the 1930's, a barman from the famous Club Twenty One in New York dreamt up a blend of Benedictine and Brandy. This new drink was instantly successful, and was called B&B. Drier than Benedictine, B&B, which is very popular with the Americans, is the result of the careful blend between the strength of an old cognac and the 27 plants and spices which go up to make Benedictine liqueur. The formula, of course, is a secret, and only the chief distiller knows the exact composition of the B&B made at the Benedictine Palace in Fécamp.
